As of version 4.18, a new object has been added, AV52, that allows you to adjust the PIR Motion Sensor (BI9) latch time between 1 and 10 seconds.
By default, the latch time is set to 10s.
The latch time can be lowered to support applications where you want to detect continual motion. In most applications, when you are detecting occupancy through the composite (PIR/Audio/IR) Occupancy (BI8) the PIR latch time can be left at 10s.
AV52 will be automatically created in the default database. If a database is loaded without this object, the latch time will remain at the default 10s.
Important notes:
- If a value is set outside this range, the device will use the closes valid input value.
- Issues may arise if the database contains an AV/BV/MV object with instance 52 prior to the 4.18 upgrade. You must remove the AV/BV/MV object before upgrading.
- There is a slight delay of a few seconds when the Motion Sensor (BI9) is set to off after the PIR latch time.
