This feature is supported in firmware 2.3 and later.
The O3 Edge allows you to read the EnOcean ID (the address of the radio) through BACnet. For each EnOcean device you configure in the O3, the device address (SV3dd000, where dd is the device address) is added to the EnOcean Base ID. For example, if the EnOcean Base ID of an O3 Edge is ffd5fe00 and you create SV305000 (device 05), the EnOcean ID used by device 05 will be ffd5fe05.
Knowing the Base ID allows you to identify the EnOcean ID used by the O3 for troubleshooting purposes or pre-commissioning other devices.
How to View the EnOcean Base ID
To view the EnOcean Base ID, at least one Device SV object must be created. After this step, there are two ways to view the Base ID:
- Open the IOM object, and review the value reported for Address 300000
- Create CSV300044 and review its value
If you are not able to see the Base ID, perform a reboot on your device.
